Introduction:
Paul Burton and Paul Burton Films are now in pre-production with a new short film entitledGrace, which will feature the actress Grace Adams-Shortin the title role. Filming will take place at Elstree Studios, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, andnearby on location on Saturday 4th October 2008.
Film Synopsis:
Set in north London in 2008, this new short drama film will feature the actress Grace Adams-ShortplayingGrace Barker, a womanwho has recently discovered that her fiance, Steve Mills, has been cheating on her with one of her best friends, Amy North. On returning from a working trip abroad, one of Grace's other friends, Sharon Warren, is given the shocking news by Grace's mother that Amy has been founded murdered in her Camden flat that she had latterly been sharing with Steve. Warren is also given the worrying news that Grace has gone missing. After making several phone calls to mutual friends and searching the area where Grace lives, Sharon discovers Gracestaring longingly at a wedding dress inthe window of a bridal shop not far from the home she once shared with her fiance. Initially it appears that Grace is confused andsuffering from a severe state of shock. However, the realityof Grace's state of mindsoon presents itself to Sharonwhen Barker makes a revelation which will ultimately make or break her friendship with Grace.
