I'd like to tell you of another outside location for filming in a particular episode, in a later series - Lavender Hill, Battersea, South London!

This small scene involved Blakey alighting a bus, going into a Florist's Corner Shop, buying a plant, and dropping it as he reboarded.

I know. I was there, and saw the whole thing being filmed, during the morning!!!!!!

The location of the shop was on the corner of LH, and Longbeach Road (where I was born and lived at the time - I was a small boy at the time of filming).

As an addition, during the morning and afternoon -

The parade of shops between Longbeach Road, and Thirsk Road along Lavender Hill, had a newly opened Pie and Mash Shop called 'Alexander's'. One of the waitresses there had more than a passing resemblance to Anna Karen' character, Olive, and the film crew, having a joke, called out to her to come on set as I recall!

I hope this helps - can anyone recall which episode this scene was in I remember that immediately after it, there was a commercial break.
